Peter Nelson - Director / General Manager

Peter established Health & Savings in August 2007 after realising a need in the pharmacy industry for self help management. Peter spent several years in the Royal Australian Navy before strongly establishing himself within the Pharmacy Industry, Peter has worked for Arrow Pharmaceuticals, Hexal / Sandoz and Pharmacare Group.

Peter brings to the industry by way of Health & Savings a strong analytical model that will develop all supplier agreements within any business. He has put a system in place with suppliers where all rebates, co-op etc gets passed directly to the pharmacy by way of net into store agreements. This benefits the pharmacy by allowing them to see the true cost of goods and also allows additional Gross Profits that were previously diverted either elsewhere (Wholesaler or Group head office) or you were seen as not large enough to achieve it.

Ross comes to Health & Savings with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Ross completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy in 1993 and worked in the Western Suburbs of Sydney as a locum before buying his own Pharmacy at Thirlmere, NSW in 1999.

When it comes to Webster Packs and dealing with Hospitals and Retirement Homes Ross is second to none and has all the right experience that is a great asset for the Health & Savings Group. Ross also truly believes in the concept of community pharmacy and is always putting back into the community around his pharmacy. Ross has a strong service ethic and is always available to help pharmacies drive profit with supplier and consumer confidence.
